In the beginning was God, a perfect being of supernatural powers who gives life, light, love, truth, and goodness. God is creator and ruler of all the universe and of all that was, and is, and ever will be. Almighty God made the heavens and the earth. At first, the earth had no form and no life. There was only darkness over the entire surface of the deep waters. Then, a wind from God swept over the face of the waters and God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "Day", and He called the darkness "Night". This was the "First Day".

God put an expanse in the middle of the water, that it may divide the water from the water. This made the waters from below separate from the waters that were above the expanse. God called the expanse "Sky". This was the "Second Day".

God made the water below the sky be gathered into one area, that the dry land may appear, and it was so. God called the dry land "Earth" and the gathering together of the waters He called the "Seas". God saw that it was good. Then, God made the earth to sprout vegetation and herbs, with seed-bearing plants of all kinds, and trees of all kinds, bearing fruit with the seed in it and it was so. God saw that it was good. This was the "Third Day".

God set lights in the sky to separate the day from the night. They are to serve as signs for the set times, the days and the years, and they shall serve as lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth. And it was so. God made the two great lights, the greater light He called the "Sun" to shine by day. The lesser light, the "Moon" was to shine by night. These were greater lights than the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth to be over the day and the night and to separate light from darkness. God saw that it was good. This was the "Fourth Day".

God made the waters to bring forth swarms of living creatures, and also birds that fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky. God created the great sea monsters in the sea, and all the living creatures that creep of all kinds. He brought forth in flocks, all types and kinds of birds. God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply". They would fill the waters in the seas and let the birds increase on earth. This was the "Fifth Day".

God made the earth to bring forth every kind of living creature; cattle, creeping things, and wild beasts of all kinds. And it was so. God made wild beasts of all types and kinds, and cattle of all kinds, and all types of creeping things. God saw that it was good. God made man in our own image, after our own likeness. Man is to rule over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on earth. God created man in His image, in his own image created he him. He created them, both male and female. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth." He made man master over all the earth and over every living thing in the seas and upon the earth that He had created.

God told man, I have given you every herb bearing seed upon the earth, and every tree that yields seed shall be yours for food. All the animals on the land, all the birds of the sky, and everything that creeps on the earth and in the seas that has breath, and all the green plants I have given to you for food. It was so. God saw all that He had made and it was good. This was the "Sixth Day".

God’s heaven and earth were finished in all their beautiful array. God finished the work He was doing and rested. This was the "Seventh Day". God blessed the seventh day and declared it "Holy". This is how the heavens, the earth, and all living things were created in the beginning by Almighty God.

Remember, you must listen to the Lord God and follow what He says to do. Through prayer and reading of His Word we will stay out of trouble and be blessed of God.  Do not listen to any serpent or wicked person that says things against the Lord God Almighty, or trouble may follow. Follow the Lord God and be blessed of Him.
