    We are counted as the sands by the seashore for number and the Jewish people as the stars of the heavens for their number, as GOD promised Abraham.

    In (Psalm 36:5-9) it describes the LORD'S mercy and righteousness, "Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.  Thy righteousness is like the great mountains: thy judgments are a great deep: O, LORD, thou preservest man and beast.  How excellent is thy loving kindness, O GOD, therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.  They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.  For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light."  

    Understanding that we must fear the LORD GOD, we read (Proverbs 14:26-27), "In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and HIS children shall have a place of refuge.  The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death."    

    When God's people commit evil and forsake HIM, they depart from under HIS wings.  GOD is a jealous GOD, as we are of those we love.  We are angered and heartbroken when our loved ones go after others for pleasure and forsake us.  This characteristic is the same with GOD, since we are made in HIS image as it is written in Genesis 1:27.   In (Jeremiah 2:3-4), "Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of HIS increase: all that devour HIM shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.  Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:" (Jeremiah 2:12), "Be astonished, O Ye heavens at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.  For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water."

    The LORD GOD wants us to be totally HIS, following only HIS rules and statutes, for HE is the fountain of life.  HE is our staff and our shield.  HE is everything to us, if we only BELIEVE on HIM.

    We find in (Jeremiah 17:13) that he says, "O LORD, the house of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from ME shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters."

    The fountain was opened up to the people when GOD sent HIS son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to save HIS people from their sins.  HE was born of a virgin, lived and was slain, a sinless sacrifice for HIS people and the people of the world.  HE was pure, and flawless, as was required of sacrifices according to GOD'S covenant with Abraham.  HE was the TRUE sacrifice.  As we read in (Zechariah 13:1), "In that day there shall be a fountain opened up to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and uncleanness."  HE was resurrected and lives today in spirit and truth.

    In (Revelation 21), we read of the Messiah's return to earth to set up HIS kingdom in all HIS power, glory, and majesty.  Jesus will defeat evil on the earth and set up HIS kingdom for 1,000 years.  HE will reign as LORD and KING with all of those that have loved and served HIM.

    John the prophet and apostle of Jesus Christ, writes in Revelation 21:1, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: the first heaven and the first earth were passed away: and there was no more sea."  This will occur after GOD ALMIGHTY has judged the unrighteous dead at HIS great white throne judgment.  We read in Revelation 21:6, "And HE said unto me, It is done.  I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." 

    GOD will bless HIS children, if they diligently seek HIM as Abraham did.  We must be willing, as was Abraham, to make sacrifices for our LORD GOD.  HE wants our hearts and souls to be dedicated a living sacrifice unto HIM.  We can do this by living our life for HIM.  GOD created and made us, and all we have both physically, and spiritually belongs to HIM. 

    GOD sent HIS son Jesus Christ, to be a perfect, sinless, sacrifice for our sins. If you call on HIM, HE will save your soul from Hell and cleanse you with eternal life.  Jesus Christ is GOD'S only begotten son, hear ye HIM.  HE will soon come the second time to earth in all HIS power, glory, and honor to receive those who believe.  Will you choose this day to confess your sins before God and ask His forgiveness?  Will you believe in Jesus and become one of HIS children?
