A Letter To Those Who Trust In The Theology of
UNCONDITIONAL Eternal Security

Shalom,

If you will graciously and patiently allow me to briefly describe and clarify my aforementioned concern it will be most sincerely appreciated.

Going forwards, I completely agree with Hebrews 9:12 commentary regarding Yeshua Jesus’ completed work of ‘atonement’ at the Cross, and Yahweh God’s forgiveness for all sins (absolute), past/present/future, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit – which was never intended to be forgiven by Yahweh as part of Yeshua’s shed Blood initiative.

“All of our sins, past-, present-, and even future-tense sins, have been atoned for...”

However, 1 Jn. 1:9 and Matt 6:15, 18:35, et. al., all describe trespasses/sins of which are subsequent to the initial justification (new birth) experience and clearly do not reflect a former ‘imputed and appropriated’ forgiveness for FUTURE sins that is ‘automatically’ accomplished at the new birth.  These sins require a subsequent new birth appropriated forgiveness that is subject to the believer’s individual free-will act of faith and choice – hence, the use of the greek conditional ‘ean’...the English conditional ‘IF’.

Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV)
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:34-35 (KJV)
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

 1 John 1:8-10 (KJV)
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Therefore, to suggest that these above cited subsequent new birth transgressions all have their forgiveness imputed/appropriated at the moment of the initial justification experience, is in direct conflict and contradiction to both Yeshua Jesus and St. John.

Once again, Jesus declared in Matt. 6:15 that subsequent to the new birth experience -  “...if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

The summation then is this, while the notion of Eternal Security is indeed notable and one of temporal desire, to imply that an absolute 100% imputed forgiveness for all of a believer’s subsequent FUTURE sins occurs at the initial justification experience is Scripturally unsustainable – and the simple Passages above proves this.

Thus, the inherent question becomes, are the ‘potentially’ UNCONFESSED and UNFORGIVEN FUTURE Sins of 1 Jn. 1:9 and Matt 6:15, 18:35, et. al., INCLUDED in the Eternal Security PERFECT (100%) Future Sins FORGIVENESS package (past/present/FUTURE) - suggested to be FORGIVEN at INITIAL JUSTIFICATION (the New Birth)?

YES or NO please?

To reiterate, Yeshua Jesus declared in Matt. 6:15 “...if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Likewise, Yeshua declared in Matt. 10:33 that WHOSOEVER (saint or sinner alike) denied Him (individual act of CHOICE and an exercise of the free-will) – He would also deny that individual before His Father...

Matthew 10:33 (KJV)
33 But
whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

In summary, does a Christian then have to KEEP God's COMMANDMENTS in order to MAINTAIN their JUSTIFICATION with God?  Those who promote and teach the misguided doctrine of Eternal Security would simply say NO we do not need to we have already been Eternally JUSTIFIED at the new birth experience!  Remember, the very nucleus of the theology of Eternal Security declares and DEMANDS that ALL 100% (absolute) of subsequent new birth - initial justification FUTURE Sins have ALREADY been forgiven at the initial justification/new birth experience.

However, what does Scripture say?  John declared that IF we KEEP God's commandments we KNOW Him - otherwise we are a LIAR...

1 John 2:3-4 (KJV)
3 And
hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

So who is the TRUTH?  Jesus.

John 14:6 (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Moreover, what happens to ALL liars - ETERNAL DAMNATION in the LAKE OF FIRE (the second death).

Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and
all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I hereby WARN you NOT to follow this UNCONDITIONAL Eternal Security doctrine of devils...  If you teach it or believe it you will PAY!!!
