The Free Little Book

For thousands of years humanity has relentlessly searched for clues and answers to mystical questions regarding both natural and supernatural forces that shape the environment and the lives of all within the sphere of their radiant influence(s).  During the past two centuries, there has been an explosion of knowledge in the area of scientific discovery.  Alarming challenges now manifesting themselves defy both ethical and religious reasoning.  The world as never before must face the reality of having to manage contrived forces of power that have the inherent potential to alter and destroy all life and its continued existence on planet earth.

When we look at mankind’s relentless endeavors to invent and discover such things as the hydrogen bomb, germ warfare, manipulation of the human genome and fetal cloning, as a society we must ask ourselves, “Are we fully capable of measuring both quantitatively and qualitatively the long-term consequences of our actions on the fragility of life itself and the surrounding environment?"  All of which, resulting from misguided scientific fabrications essentially, should be considered knowledge of forbidden acquisition.

Today mankind's scientific thirst for discovery spins out of control like a maddening whirlwind, for which there seems to be little time or regard for the wisdom and guidance of the Almighty God, who is the creator of all things.  Thus, science under the influence of its own persuasion and direction is in a relentless rush to 'reverse engineer' what God created eons ago.  Apostle Paul confronted this same contrary spirit centuries earlier when he declared, "...avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:" (1 Tim. 6:20).  To this end, the sinful assaulting behavior of humanity in their relentless efforts to create and sustain a higher quality of life, for and by themselves, without any respect or reference to God and His commandments, have catapulted the world to the very limits of God’s patience.  In doing so, this generation is now standing on the abyss as the one most likely, in all of human history, to see and experience God’s foretold and forthcoming wrath.

With such forces and conditions accelerating at an alarming rate, it would seem we are approaching a depressing and hopeless time for all mankind.  For the Godless and the unsaved, this is a resounding inevitable fact.  However, such is not the case for those who are born again believers in Yeshua, Jesus.  For all those who are washed in the Blood of the Lamb, and who keep the faith, these are prophetic signs of our Lord Yeshua’s soon return.  Meanwhile, Christians should reach out with a sense of urgency to those that are lost and prepare for our Lord's joyous appearing with a sober understanding of what is to transpire next.  Following the rapture of the Church there will be a time of Hell on earth that has never existed since the foundation of the world.  "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24:21)

As we study the following body of information, we must realize that God has given to His children, His Spirit and His Word.  As such, they have a simplified understanding of His 'Plan of Salvation' and what the abolition of sin will actually entail.

All those who have any knowledge of Scripture know God has always shared with His people prophetic signs and revelations foretelling His intensions of impending events.  While Christians may not know the actual day or hour of these coming events, they certainly can comprehend the signs of the forthcoming season.  With this in mind, the foci of the following little book is on, "Who is the approaching Antichrist, the Beast Out of the Abyss, what are their names and how do they relate to the gematria number 666?"  This book is not intended to be a complete and exhaustive treatment of these subjects, but rather by all measures a work in progress.   

The Dream Revisited:

During the winter of 2003, the Lord impressed upon my spirit that I should revisit the dream He had given me on 10/09/2002.  I had been intently studying the Book of Revelation trying to ascertain the name of the Antichrist as it related to the gematria number 666.  I had postulated in my research that God had not inspired Apostle John to document information that He did not intend to reveal to His children.  "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (John 14:13)  So armed with this promise and my faith I proceeded to theorize that if one could find the name of the Beast they would also find the name of the man Antichrist or vice versa.  As such, while lying in bed one night meditating on Scripture, the Spirit of God impressed upon me that my earlier dream regarding Yoga held the answer to my question concerning the Beast and the Antichrist (False Prophet).

At that time, what I knew about Yoga could rest comfortably on the head of a small pin. However, not being one willing to rebuff the Spirit of God, armed with my Bible and a high-speed cable internet connection, I set to work on discovering the rudiments of Yoga.  After just a brief introduction into the research, I became overwhelmed and discouraged by the volume of data I found related to Yoga. I felt as though this could be a query, which could literally continue for months or even years.  Thus, I then returned to the Lord in prayer where  He impressed upon me that His Spirit would guide me through the necessary and relevant material to achieve my objective.  Such is always the course of discovery with God, you provide the sweat effort and He will provide the impossible equity.  Therefore, before going any further, I think it is imperative that the reader should have a condensed, but simplified understanding of what the religion of Yoga actually entails.


Yoga:

Yoga is the "PRAYER" (Communication/Supplication) with a Pagan Deity.  Yoga is from the Sankrit word Yug, meaning 'Union' with the 'Divine', or higher 'SELF'.  Yoga is a path for transcending the ordinary mind as to whom you think you are in order to merge with your 'higher Self' or 'God Self.'  Yoga means 'to yoke' or more accurately to yoke with Brahman (i.e., the 'Infinite,' the 'Universal Spirit,' the impersonal force that the Hindus call 'God') through the realization of an altered state of consciousness, thereby theoretically releasing oneself from the bondage of endless reincarnation.  Yoga comes from the Hindu Vedas and Patanjali, a Hindu religious leader.  Patanjali, ancient exponent and codifier of classical Yoga formulated one-hundred and ninety six Yoga aphorisms (a statement of principles).  Legend says that Patanjali was an incarnation of Shesha, the 'Kunda' snake of eternity, and at the end of his life was seen being swallowed by a Python.  Shiva, known as 'The Destroyer', who is also called Yogi Swara, or the 'Lord of Yoga, is one of Hinduism's three most powerful gods.'

There are an estimated 10,000 plus yoga teachers (approx. 15,000,000 practitioners) residing within the United States, who teach somewhere between four to five million students per week.  Yoga is a program that involves conscious stretching, deliberate movements, and controlled breathing, in conjunction with relaxation exercises.  As such, Yoga originated from a school of thought in the Hindu religion, which suggests that postures can isolate the soul from the body and the mind.

The practice of Yoga is both pagan and occultic at its best. Its teachings originate from the Eastern religions, all of which teach that Self is God, and we only need come to the realization of it.  In a book by Dave Hunt and T. A. McMahon, The Seduction of Christianity, they state the following:

The HRM phenomenon is in fact a rediscovery of a scientific ritual, which was used to heal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual diseases in ancient times.  Ancient Indians called this practice Surya Namaskar, where ancient Egyptians and Americans called it Heliotherapy and Europeans called it Apollo therapy.

John Weldon and Clifford Wilson wrote in, Occult Shock and Psychic Forces, that Yoga is pure occultism.⁴ Hans-Ulrich Rieker, an authority on Yoga, in his book, The Yoga of Light, also warns that misunderstanding the true nature of Yoga can mean 'death or insanity.' ⁵ Another little known fact is that virtually every major guru in India has issued warnings similar to these; i.e., deep-breathing techniques such as the ones taught in Yoga are a time-honored method for entering altered states of consciousness and for developing so-called psychic power.

Controlled breathing can generate intense internal heat (cf. the Yoga practice of Tapas), and awaken the Python (Kundalini Serpent)^6,7,8  As stated, this is accomplished through the Yoga practice known as 'Tapas'.  Tapas (austerity): Literally, 'to burn'; in Yoga, Tapas implies the burning of all desires by means of discipline, purification, and penance.  Yogis believe this inner fire to be a source of spiritual energy.  It is believed the sole practice of Tapas can lead to the release of Kundalini and attainment of enlightenment (wisdom).

"Now we come to breathing exercises. Let me caution you: they can be very dangerous. Unless properly done, there is a good chance of injuring the brain. And those who practice such breathing without proper supervision can suffer a disease which no known science or doctor can cure. It is impossible, even for a medical person, to diagnose such an illness...  [For example,] I had known a young boy of perhaps 16 or 17 years of age who had begun to practice hatha yoga...  He was acting very strangely. He would prostrate fully on the ground, rise to full height, then repeat the performance—over and over again. The Swami said that he had lost his mind...  Finally, however he became so unmanageable that he had to be confined...  As regards breathing exercises, I know that Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and all the disciples of Ramakrishna have warned us again not to practice them."⁹

"All features associated with European witches are claimed also by Indo-Tibetan yogis and magicians.  Along with a range of occult powers common to both, some yogis:

...boast that they break all the religious taboos and social rules: that they practice human sacrifice, cannibalism, and all manner of orgies, including incestuous intercourse, and that they eat excrement, nauseating animals, and devour human corpses. In other words, they proudly claim all the crimes and horrible ceremonies cited ad nauseam in the Western European witch trials."¹²

In summary, make no mistake, when you practice Yoga, or experiment with it, you are well on your way to alienating yourself from God and entering into a forbidden world of darkness of which few ever escape.

Forbidden Research Experience:

In retrospect to Yoga, a related incident personally happened to me in June of 1987.  During the weeks leading up to the hereafter-described experience, I had been attending summer college classes and had taken an elective course in psychology.  Independently I was also unwittingly studying hypnosis, sleep, and altered states of consciousness.  I had only been a born again Christian for approximately 3 years, but I was coveting the "Baptism in the Holy Ghost".

Having an engineering background, it seemed only logical to me that this Spiritual baptism must be something that could be analytically correlated to the mechanical functions of the human brain, and therefore both identifiable and measurable.  After all, the laws of science mandate that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, right.  From that premise, I set about on a reckless, but systematic plan of discovery to determine just where within the human anatomical brain the Spirit of God would most likely choose to dwell.  Would it be the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, medulla, thalamus, hypothalamus, etc.?  While this may sound very absurd now, you must remember I was relatively a 'babe in Christ' and quite obviously had a great deal to learn about the God I later grew to love and serve.

Then, one night after a long day of studying psychology and brain anatomy, my wife and I retired to bed.  At 12:30 a.m. on June 27, 1987, (Saturday), I was lying in bed and I could feel myself, while semi asleep, drifting in and out of some altered state of consciousness that gave me the feeling of falling. Suddenly, without warning, it happened.  A non-painful, electrical surge of energy of very high frequency emanated throughout the entirety of my body.  Then, a shouting voice from within my spirit said "Barney! I Am God! Touch Not This Thing!"

Ouch! God had undoubtedly acquired my undivided attention.  He had made it perfectly clear to me this was not His acceptable method for receiving the "Spirit Baptism" and my pitiful intellectual human endeavors were proscribed.  God was warning me there were mysteries associated with the abyss of the human mind that are so far beyond our miniature comprehension that we must never persist to understand without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  We are never to FREELY expose our frail unsuspecting souls and spirits to a world of darkness that can be fraught with the presence of forbidden and awaiting demons of destruction.  Until this day, I have never again studied the human brain and its functions or the altered states of human consciousness.  In addition, while it may seem extreme, I will not even watch an educational television program associated with the mechanics of the human brain.  While I may not be the brightest bulb in the box, I do not intend to replicate Adam and Eve’s, "Do Not Touch" atrocity.

The Power

Unveiling the Yoga Serpent:

After navigating through a myriad of data related to pagan Hindu gods, I was unable to formulate any viable association between Greek/Hebrew gematria and the number 666.  Following many days of intense research into the practical applications of Yoga and its associated components, I had learned that the absolute objective of all serious Yoga practitioners is to achieve the ultimate experience known as the 'Awakening of the Serpent Power' - Kundalini.  This is why Hans-Rieker concludes, "Kundalini [is] the mainstay of all yoga practices."¹⁴  Therefore, the fundamental aim of all Yoga involves the special virtue of heat or tummo, known as Kundalini, the 'Serpent Power'. 

Upon the discovery of the Kundalini Serpent, I began to realize the Spirit of God had led me to the initial golden nugget of my objective.  While there was still much work to be done there was also much more to be revealed, and I was clearly on the right path.  I could now associate the serpent in my dream with that of Yoga's 'Kundalini Serpent'.

However, at first I had trouble making the connection between the two because in India the Cobra serpent represents Kundalini and is a primary idol of choice, whose color is in clear contrast to the color of the serpent in my dream.  Then, it all began to make sense, the day I discovered the Kundalini Serpent is symbolized not only by the Cobra, but also by the serpent Python.  The color of a Python snake matched ideally with the color of the serpent in my dream.

To this end, before proceeding any further I feel it is important to share with the reader a generalized understanding of what the celebrated Kundalini Serpent actually represents.


Kundalini Serpent Power: 

Kundalini is a term from the Yogic tradition for the power of the divine goddess Shakti. According to Yogic philosophy, Kundalini creates the universe and knows itself as creator.  The Eastern traditions revere Kundalini as the Great Queen Mother goddess who gives birth to all that is. Condensing to form, she is viewed as the material world.  She is the essential energy, more fundamental than all universal power and forms the basis for individual experience and existence.  Yogics believe that the infusion of one’s spiritual mind with Kundalini power of consciousness is to know truth and their unity with the Divine.  Hindu spiritual tradition and Yogic practitioners declare Kundalini synonymous with the Christian 'Holy Spirit'.  (See graphic) In order for seekers to succeed on their spirit journeys shamans, yogis, monks, priests, nuns, etc., must all approach her as obedient suppliants.

Kundalini is referred to as the 'Power of the Divine' present in each individual.  She has two fundamental expressions.  She maintains the entire existence of the body, mind and spirit, and while considered dormant, she is the power of consciousness to know the Divine as Self.  According to her worshipers, this potential power, allegedly innate to all, can facilitate its practitioners to unity consciousness, considered the sublime awareness of Divine Self, infinite and all encompassing.  Symbolized by a sleeping, coiled serpent wound exactly three and one-half turns around the human sacral bone at the base of the spine, Kundalini awaits her great awakening.  She is considered the most exhilarating experience in the long life of the soul that extends over countless cycles of physical birth and death, Hindu reincarnation (avatars).

Shaktipat is the Sanskrit term for Kundalini awakening which means 'descent of grace.' Kundalini awakening usually occurs in a specifically designed ritual for the transmittal of her power.  Awakening Kundalini occurs through various Yogic practices and disciplines, which have developed over thousands of years, and are specifically structured for preparing the mind and body for the enormous explosion of power emanating from Kundalini arousal.  Prayer, devotional worship, chanting, meditation, mantras, ritual dance, drumming and many other pagan practices can awaken the so-called Divine consciousness - the Kundalini Serpent.  Spontaneous awakening of Kundalini can occur from near death experiences, traumatic experiences, pain, deep sorrow, prolonged periods of one-pointed concentration, or even in dreams through the initiation distributed by an alleged wise being, better known to Christians as a demon.  Kundalini works on all levels of human experience and touches all aspects of human life.  Once awakened, her victims can never be the same again.

The awakened Kundalini can stir up everything from latent diseases of the body to emotional or psychological disturbances.  Some individuals feel like fire has descended upon them, rather than grace, as Kundalini power infuses their body, mind and relationships.  As Kundalini moves through, what Yoga tradition calls the body’s system of channels (nadis) and the associated seven centers of energy (chakras), its practitioners willingly succumb to the overwhelming feeling of power.  Kundalini arousal symptoms include, but are limited to the following: sensations of bodily heat and cold, rushes of energy throughout the body (especially up and down the spine), sweating, trembling, fear, anxiety, dissociation, visions, out-of-body experiences, spontaneous body movements, changes in breathing patterns, mantras, speaking in tongues, distortions of time and space, healings, habits or addictions falling away, inspired creativity, feelings of exalted knowledge and wisdom, and states of boundless ecstasy with love arising for no apparent reason.

Many unsuspecting victims are told during the Kundalini arousal experience, not to be alarmed that they are being 'Baptized in the Spirit of God'.  Additionally, Kundalini signs are quite often confused with or misdiagnosed as anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, dissociation disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia as well as many other associated diseases.  Shifts in values, attitudes, and behaviors will frequently occur and have a major impact on relationships.  However, when considering the characteristics of Kundalini, one must not overlook the strong changes in sexual arousal and sexual behavior of many Kundalini initiates.  According to one Kundakini worshiper, "She is the Power of your own Divinity come to take you home".  Within the minds of both Yoga scholars and practitioners alike, Kundalini is unquestionably, the 'Queen'.

Let me make this point perfectly clear to any unsuspecting reader, "If you want to anger the one and only true God and make your eternal home in HELL, just willingly participate in the pursuit, practice and arousal of the deceptive Kundalini spirit."

"In your book The Yoga Tradition, you mention learning Hatha-Yoga from an Indian guru while you were still in your teens.  Can you say something more about this?"

Feuerstein responed, "Oh that’s a long time ago.  I spent about a year studying with a Hatha-Yoga master, who was well known in Europe for his extraordinary yogic abilities, which he was always eager to demonstrate especially to the medical community... The Hatha-Yoga initiates speak of subtle elements (called tattva), subtle pathways (called nadi), and psychoenergetic centers (called cakra). They all must be readied for the visit of Queen Kundalini, the Goddess energy. Otherwise she gets angry and ruins your nervous system and organs like the heart. All this is well known in the Yoga tradition, but many Western practitioners dabble with it, unaware of the dangers of Kundalini-Yoga."¹⁶

With regard to this deceiving power of darkness, Apostle Paul said it best, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)

The True Holy Spirit Power:

After many hours of research regarding the 'Kundalini Serpent Power', the realization of this fraudulent pagan force reminds me of the real Holy Ghost Power that I personally experienced during the first year of my marriage, 1977-‘78.

A brief synopsis of circumstances surrounding this event will help to clarify what actually happened.  My wife and I just prior to our marriage purchased a 10 by 50 foot, 1959 model, Skyline mobile home, which at that time was eighteen years old.  It was a real beauty.  The outside walls were made of tin and there were large holes that had rusted through the metal.  However, this did not matter at all to us because we were in love.  After all, we had married for better or worse.  'I couldn't have done better and she couldn't have done worse.' Thus, we joyously set about cleaning and repairing our little mansion.  She cleaned inside while I patched holes outside.  We found old pieces of metal, screwed them over the outside holes, and patched over that with buckets of black roofing tar, painting it yellow and brown.

However, sad to say, during this time my wife and I did not know the Lord.  Never the less, for some strange reason or another we decided to paint a large life-size mural of Christ hanging on the cross, on the front of our mobile home.  My wife, being a budding artist, mixed our leftover paint and the mural, unbelievably, looked great!  There were many positive comments about the painting for as long as we owned the little mobile home.  One day a stranger passing by stopped his delivery truck at our front door, got out, knocked on our door, and when I answered he said, "I just wanted you to know the painting on your mobile home has been a blessing to me as I’ve driven by each day making my deliveries."  He then turned around, got in his vehicle and drove off.  Even though it may sound like we had slim pickings, in our hearts it was home and we were delighted to live in it for about 12 years.

It was obvious, that money was not our strongest asset.  The front and back doors on our mobile home came from a remodeling job on my sister’s house.  While they did not fit perfectly, they were much better than what we previously had.  However, the back door had given us many problems in the past by just suddenly popping open at night and leaving us exposed to the outside elements.  This was a real concern since the door was located just to the left of our tiny bedroom, and very close to the foot of the bed where we slept. 

Apostle John reveals that the Beast had been wounded unto death, "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast" (Rev. 13:3).  The head wounded unto death was none other than one of the seven kingdoms that the Beast from the abyss formally ruled.  Whenever his kingdom fell, God consigned this Beast to the bottomless pit (abyss).  Thus, the Beast Out of the Bottomless Pit will be none other than that Satanic, fallen angel that once ruled the old Grecian Empire, the Prince of Grecia (Apollyon).

How do we know Apollyon is the former prince of the Grecian Empire?  The seven-headed Beast must have had, and will have, some form of diabolical association with Israel and the Jewish people as a nation.  There have been six empires (soon to be seven), on earth that have both persecuted and captivated the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.  Additionally, the focus of the Book of Revelation is mainly on the nation of Israel and a time of 'Jacob's Trouble' (Jeremiah 30:7).  The Church will be raptured moments after the release of Apollyon from the bottomless pit marking the onset of the Great Tribulation.  To this end, there have been many world empires, but only the seven belonging to the Dragon and the Beast, as related to the nation of Israel, are of a focal common concern in the Book of Revelation.

The ancient oppressing kingdoms against Israel and the Jewish people are in their order of origination as follows: 1^st Egyptian Empire, 2^nd Assyrian Empire, 3^rd Babylonian Empire, 4^th Medo-Persian Empire, 5^th Grecian Empire, and the 6^th Roman Empire. "And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." (Rev. 17:10)  The seven kings revealed to John are seven, Satanic fallen angels.  The first of these five, Satanic angels and their kingdoms had already fallen before John’s vision, and the sixth fallen angel was currently ruling the Roman Empire in John’s day. 

It must be stated here that the fallen angel Apollyon is identified in Scripture as the 'King' of the demon locusts and will come out of the abyss.   

"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon." (Rev. 9:11)  

The Greek manuscripts read, 'angel out of the abyss.' 

The seventh empire will originate from the ten horns out of the sixth head which was the old Roman Empire, and will be ruled by the seventh, Satanic, fallen angel for the first three and one-half years.  Then, he will be replaced, and for the last 3½ years better know as the 'Great Tribulation', the revived Grecian Empire will be ruled by, "...the beast [revived 5^th king becomes 8^th king] that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition." (Rev. 17:11)  He will be the Beast Out of the Bottomless Pit, or the Prince of Grecia - Apollyon, which are one in the same.

In retrospect, from the Prophet Daniel’s vision of the four beasts we see the Roman Empire symbolized by the fourth beast.  "...The fourth beast [6^th head Roman Empire] shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom [6^th head Roman Empire] are ten kings that shall arise: [7^th head Revised Roman Empire] and another shall rise after them; [11^th small horn Antichrist] and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings." (Daniel 7:23-24)

Please, do not make the mistake of considering these seven heads of the Beast as the seven literal hills upon which the city of Rome is/was built.  "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed..." (Rev. 13:3)   If one should follow this assumption, how could you wound a literal, physical mound of earth located as the foundation of a major metropolitan city and then heal it?  This view resolves itself as being neither logical nor reasonable.

We must understand that all natural earthly nations/kingdoms are ruled by God and the spirit world - a supreme angelic governing body, be it good, or be it evil.  This ruling concept is illustrated in Scripture whenever the Prophet Daniel had a vision whereby the angel Gabriel was sent to impart to him the meaning thereof, but was delayed by a contrary Satanic angel.  Gabriel's hindrance required the dispatching of God’s chief military angel, Michael, to free him to continue his mission.  "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia." (Daniel 10:13)  This Scripture clearly reveals that no mortal human being could withstand or hinder the mission of the angel Gabriel to the extent that it would require the military assistance of the archangel Michael.

Meanwhile, Gabriel reveals to Daniel that a subsequent angel would rule the Grecian Empire following the fall of the Medo-Persian Empire, "...and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come." (Daniel 10:20)

"The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." (Rev. 17:8)

The Beast Out of the Bottomless Pit had ruled a kingdom before John’s day and then fallen. He will once again, be revived to rule the old Grecian Empire (the former 5^th head of the seven-headed beast).  This revived Grecian empire will form from the nucleus of the revived 10 horns of the old Roman Empire (former 6^th head of the seven-headed beast). Thus, the Grecian Empire will be the future kingdom to oppress Israel in the 'Times of the Gentiles' and the last world power to do so.  The Antichrist will arise as the 'little horn' from one of the revised Roman Empire's ten kingdoms overthrowing three of the ten.

In addition, the Prophet Joel also reveals events of the last days concerning the Grecian Empire under the rule of the Antichrist, "The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border." (Joel 3:6)  The Prophet Zechariah declares likewise, "When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man." (Zech. 9:13)

Renowned Biblical scholar Finnis Jennings Dake agrees that the 'Beast Out of the Bottomless Pit' is not a human spirit when he writes in his book, Revelation Exposed, the following:

"We firmly believe that the beast out of the abyss represents a mighty supernatural satanic prince and not a human spirit.  We do not believe that this spirit is to be incarnated in any human body and become the Antichrist, but that he will be the ruling prince under the guidance of Satan, dominating the Antichrist and exalting him as the earthly king over the eighth and last kingdom at the end of the age.  We further believe that he ruled one of the first kingdoms, which had fallen before John's day and is represented by the first five heads of the beast; that when his kingdom fell, he was cast into the abyss and confined there during the sixth kingdom (the Roman Empire), which was the one that existed in John's day; that he will still be confined there until the formation of the ten kingdoms as the seventh kingdom; that he will be loosed out of the abyss during the ten kingdoms, and revive the kingdom of Greece he ruled before the sixth and the seventh;..."¹⁸

In summary, a description of the Beast that John saw is as follows:

"And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space." (Rev. 17:10)

Thus, the Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medo-Persian, and Grecian empires along with their ruling demonic angels had already fallen before John's vision.  The current fallen angel was still ruling the Roman Empire during John's day.  However, he was to go the way of his predecessors, and be followed by a future fallen angel who would temporally rule the final seventh kingdom for the first 3½ years of the 7-year tribulation period.  At the onset of the 'Great Tribulation' the eighth and final fallen angel, revived Python/Apollyon/Abaddon (ruler of the former 5^th empire - Grecian) will replace the seventh king.

According to legend, it was Alexander’s mother, Olympias, who swore to her dying day that she had been impregnated with the seed of Alexander the Great by a Python serpent, Egyptian god Zeus-Ammon.  In this respect, King Philip, Alexander's natural father, sent Chairon of Megalopolis to Delphi after having a vision regarding a Python serpent and his wife Olympias, who in turn brought an oracle to Philip from Apollo, which declared that he was henceforth to sacrifice to Zeus-Ammon and worship that god especially.  Furthermore, he was to put out the eye, which had spied on the god Zeus-Ammon through a crack in the door, the god who, in the form of a Python serpent, had lain with his wife.  It should be noted that Zeus-Ammon is none other than the Egyptian version of the Greek god Apollo, and both were celebrated oracle gods.

As stated earlier, in the future, the man Antichrist will rule the revived Grecian Empire.  Thus, we can draw the parallel conclusion that Python, (Abaddon/Apollyon/Apollon/Apollo/Artemis/Astarte. etc. the fallen angel), is the actual Beast that will arise from the abyss, marking the beginning of the final 3½ years of the Great Tribulation.  Meanwhile, during this period the Beast will be the real source of power, deception and miracles behind and possessing the man Antichrist and his kingdom.   

"And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people." (Daniel 8:24)

"Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.  " (Daniel 11:39)   

To this end, Apollyon will not only have his own power, but will assume all the delegated authority of Satan, as John revealed, “...and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” (Rev. 13:2) 

In the Book of Revelation (Rev. 6:2-8), the man Antichrist must be understood as being in confederacy with 'all four horses of apocalypse' and that, 'all four horse riders are representative of actual fallen angelic spirits, sent by Satan sequentially into the earth, beginning with the last days of the seven year Tribulation.   By analogy, the Prophet Zechariah reveals in Zech. 6:1-5 that colored horses transports Heavenly 'angelic spirits' from before God into the earth.   See also, Zechariah 1:7-11.              

"And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. [2] In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; [3] And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. [4] Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? [5] And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth." (Zech. 6:1-5)   

Thus, the Antichrist and Abaddon/Apollo/Apollyon, etc. will be revealed under the Fourth Seal in the middle of the seven-year Tribulation.  The ‘Pale Horse Rider, (pale – Greek chloros - greenish) Death’ is actually the fallen angel Satan, who is synonymous with the title of Death.  The Pale Horse Rider as ‘Satan’ was formally Lucifer, the “Morning Star/Light Bearer".  Lucifer was originally a Latin word meaning "light-bearer" (from lux, "light", and ferre, "to bear, bring"), a Roman astrological term for the "Morning Star".  The word Lucifer was the direct translation of the Greek eosphorus ("dawn-bearer"; cf. Greek phosphorus, "light-bearer") 

"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" (Isaiah 14:12)  

            As the apocalyptic Pale Horse Rider, Satan will kill with the instrument of ‘Death’ and that instrument of Death will be none other than the dreaded ‘Mark of the Beast’.  It is hereby suggested that the Mark of the Beast will be a composition ‘Phosphorus Mark’ (especially white phosphorus) that will produce a luminous pale-green glow.   

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:" (Rev. 13:16)  

With the implementation of the 'Mark of the Beast' those who refuse to accept his mark/name/number of his name, will be executed – Rev. 13:15, and those who alternatively do accept the mark will be forever doomed to burn in the 'Eternal Lake of Fire" – Rev. 14:11.  Therefore, as can clearly be seen the Mark of the Beast will result in either the physical or the eternal death (Second Death) of its unfortunate subjects.  It is from this wrath and atrocity that the infinite wisdom of God prepared an escape for His Church, better known as the pre Great Tribulation 'Rapture'.  

"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (Luke 21:36)

"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ," (1 Thes. 5:9)  

Going forward, Phosphorus is also known as the ‘Devil’s Element’ and was discovered by Hennig Brand (c.1630 – c.1710).  As such, Henning was an unsuccessful merchant and amateur alchemist in Hamburg, Germany, and was the first person to discover the pure element phosphorus.  Around 1669 he heated residues from boiled-down urine on his furnace until the retort was red hot, where all of a sudden glowing fumes filled it and liquid dripped out, bursting into flames.  He could catch the liquid in a jar and cover it, where it solidified and continued to give off a pale-green glow.  What he collected was phosphorus, which he named from the Greek for "light-bearing" or "light-bearer."

Therefore, if Satan is synonymous with 'Death' then it only makes sense that Jesus is ‘Life’.  In addition, the Anti-Christ who is in close confederacy with Satan (Death) and Apollyon (Hell/Hades) must be the natural earthly human agent/instrument for ‘Death’ and 'Hell'.

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44)  

The man Antichrist is clearly identified by Apostle Paul when writing to the Thessalonians where he reveals him as the 'Son of Perdition'. 

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;..." (2 Thes. 2:3- KJV)  

When we analyze the Greek word for 'perdition' we find the following:

We see that the word 'perdition', Greek apoleia, is derived from the Greek word 'apollumi' (see Apollyon above).  This is the same Greek word from which the name Apollyon (Beast Out of the Abyss) is derived.  As stated earlier this would seem to illustrate that Satan and the fallen angel Apollyon are the two final riders of apocalypse (Death and Hell) under the fourth seal of the Book of Revelation. (Rev. 6:8)

Once again, in relation to Apollyon/Beast Out of the Abyss and the Antichrist their unity is revealed in the Greek derivation of the transliterated word 'perdition'.

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: [apoleia – apollumi - Apollyon] and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Rev. 17:8)   

“And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition [apoleia – apollumi - Apollyon].” (Rev. 17:11)

Therefore, what is actually being stated in the above Scriptures is that after the Beast Out of the Abyss rises he will enter into the 'Form, State, or Condition' of the prophesied apoleia/apollumi/Apollyon -Abaddon in which both the Hebrew and Greek languages identifies as the 'Destroyer'.  It should be noted, that beyond John the Revelator's prophecy neither the Hebrews nor the Greeks knew of the existence of any such fallen angel from the abyss.  What the above Scriptures simply reveal is that when such an angelic being becomes a reality the Hebrew and Greek languages have words, which describe such a destroying creature – Abaddon/Apollyon.   

Whenever, Satan and Apollyon are referred to as 'Death' and 'Hell', it must be understood they are the two spiritual, synonymous personifications of eternal 'Death and Hell' referred to in Rev. 20:13-14.  Just as John the Revelator personified (symbolized) Jerusalem as 'Sodom, Egypt and Mystery Babylon', during the time of the seven-year Tribulation, so too are Satan and Apollyon principally synonymous with eternal 'Death and Hell'.

"And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." (Rev. 11:8)

So who are literal 'Death and Hell'?  Apostle John reveals in Revelation chapter 20:13 that they are the sinful damned who will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment of God, following the 1000-year reign of Christ, who will be cast into an eternal 'Lake of Fire'.

"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Rev. 20:13-14)

Moreover, when analyzing the characteristics of 'Death and Hell' we must go beyond just the natural death of humanity.  All those who have physically died or will die in the future, including all who are now alive or will be alive at that time, in the flesh but dead in sin, that have not known Christ are part of the eternal Second Death' and 'Second Resurrection'.  Please note, all those who died from Adam to Moses will be judged according to how they kept God's Law, which was a shadow of Christ that was to come.

Meanwhile, the eternal 'Second Death' and 'Second Resurrection' includes all doomed sinful spirits and souls who are now being held in the abode of Hades (Hell).  These spirits/souls will be given up to God at the Great White Throne Judgment and cast into the eternal 'Lake of Fire'.

"But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Rev. 20:5-6)

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Rev. 20:14-15)

Escape from eternal 'Death and Hell' is through the acceptance of the 'Blood Atonement' of Christ of which water baptism becomes a physical symbol declaring an individuals spiritual death, burial and resurrection from sin (eternal Second Death and Second Resurrection).  Therefore, every Christian, who repents of their sins dies a 'spiritual death' and is raised to a new 'spiritual life'.  Conversely, all those who reach the age of mental accountability and choose to continue to live in sin by rejecting the Word of God's Christ are 'spiritually dead' and a part of the coming eternal 'Second Death' and 'Second Resurrection'.  This concept of the 'spiritually living dead' was revealed when God declared,

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 2:17)

"Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:60)

Even the Angels who rebelled with Satan against God, at the point and time of their rebellion transformed from 'Eternal Life' with God, becoming eternally 'Spiritually Dead'.  They are now part of that great number awaiting the eternal 'Second Death' in the Lake of Fire. 

"And, behold, they [demons – fallen angels] cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" (Matthew 8:29)

However, for all those who are to be part of the 'First Resurrection' and who have experienced a 'Spiritual First  Death' Apostle John reveals the following:

"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:12)

In summary, we can thus draw the conclusion that the following implications are within tolerable reasoning.  It is during the reign of the /Antichrist and Apollyon, that John the Revelator reveals there is no escape from the eternal 'Second Death' for all those who willingly worship the Beast.

"And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." (Rev. 14:11)

It is from humanity's unforgivable action of Beast worship against the direct commandments of God, which gives rise to the symbolic nature, and origin of 'Death and Hell' (Satan and Apollyon).  Thus, the following implications of Satan and Apollyon as metaphors for eternal 'Death/Hell' apply.

In comparison with the Rapture of the Church, there will still be those at the end of the millennial reign of Christ that will be alive but dead in sin, and will be judged and changed and cast into the 'Lake of Fire'.

"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;..." (Rev. 20:13)

Here the word 'Sea' is referring to the nations of the earth at the end of the 1000-year reign of Christ and not a literal body of water.

When referring to Apollyon as the Python, Hebrew Scriptures reveal the term 'familiar spirit' áåà is used to denote, 'One who asks or inquires of an 'Ob, that is, a Python, or divining spirit.' This spirit was supposed to be in the person of the conjurer, and able to reveal to them secret or hidden event(s) of the future, hence prophecy.

Jewish tradition says, "Ob, áåà, (familiar spirit) is the Python, who speaks from his armpits; yidde'oni is he who speaks with his mouth."  According to the Talmud, the yidde'oni used a bone of the animal called 'yaddua' in his mouth, which is made to speak by magic.  The 'possessor of the Ob' stooped while speaking to make it appear as if the spirit spoke from his joints and arms.  God clearly commanded the Hebrew children, as well as all who believe today, not to consort with those who sought after familiar spirits.

Satan will yield his power to the Python because he must live to fight another day.  At the end of the Great Tribulation and the coming of our Lord Yeshua (Jesus), the angel Apollyon/Apollo Python/Artemis and the False Prophet (Antichrist) will be cast alive into the 'Lake of Fire', but Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for the 1,000 years of the millennial reign of Yeshua and His Saints.

So how does the alleged female Python/Artemis spirit fit with Greek or Hebrew gematria and the number 666?  First, we need to see the Pythian spirit at work in the days of Apostle Paul,

In the above Scripture, we see that the damsel was possessed with a spirit of divination.  The Greek word for divination according to Strong’s Biblical Concordance is Greek #4436, Puthon, poo'-thone; from Putho (the name of the region where Delphi, the seat of the famous oracle, was located); a Python, i.e. (by analogy with the supposed diviner there) inspiration (soothsaying) :- divination.

Even though God has consigned the angel Python (Abaddon/Apollyon/Apollon/Apollo) to the abyss until his release heralding the beginning of the Great Tribulation, his legions of subservient demons/angels were/are still enthusiastically at large persecuting and deceiving humanity while devouring souls.

It is important to note that the Python, who is the MALE ANGEL Apollyon, along with his demonic henchmen, frequently in both the past and present, have transformed themselves into FEMALE GODDESSES and go to great lengths to conceal their true androgynous angelic/demonic identities.

When considering the angel Python (Abaddon/Apollyon/Apollon/Apollo/Artemis) we should understand the method by which he kills his prey.  The Python is a constrictor like none other, wrapping his cold coils tighter and tighter around the body of his helpless, struggling victim, gradually squeezing until the victim’s very breath of life is completely extinguished, and the agonizing, strangulated body then succumbs to the eternal darkness of death.  The Python’s symbolization is revealed in the cautionary commandments delivered to the early Church by the Apostles.  When faced with contentions between the Jews and the Gentiles as to keeping the rituals related to the Mosaic Law the Apostles declared the following,

Here we clearly see God’s disdain for the symbolic association between 'things strangled' and the killing apparatus of the angel Python.

As stated earlier, Apollyon/Apollo Python/Artemis will be the ultimate source of power possessing the man Antichrist during the last 3½ years of the Great Tribulation.  With retrospect to the similarities of the above and the Kundalini Serpent, Yogic tradition holds that the Kundalini Serpent is coiled exactly 3½ turns around the sacrum bone at the base of the human spine.  In addition, the three fundamental and essential elements of the practice of all Yoga are first mind control or mental imagery, second physical posturing and third controlled breathing.

Tracking the Python:

When tracking the genealogy of pagan gods/goddesses (fallen angels/demons) you enter into a world of half-truths, myths and legends.  Without question, one cannot constructively proceed unless the Spirit of God guides them through the sea of lies, name changes, and a myriad of pagan practices.  It is important to note, as we journey through the myths of doctrine perpetrated by fallen angels/demons, we are not implying in any way that we believe in these mythical legends.  However, we merely use the so-called truths of these associated pagan deities as a method of tracking and uncovering their actions in the lives of unsuspecting worshipers, both past and present.

In ancient Greece the Python’s works are well illuminated by the historical, maybe even mythical, 'Oracle of Delphi' which lasted well over 1000 years.  With this in mind, just what actually is the Oracle of Delphi?

Oracle of Delphi:

Dating back to 1400 BC, the Oracle of Delphi was the most important temple in all of Greece.  Delphi, formally known as Pytho, lies on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Greece, on which an earlier town known as Kastri, once existed above the ruins of the sacred compound.  In the 1890’s, after serious archaeological excavation began at the ruins, it was relocated.  Delphi, constructed around a carved domed rock, the omphalos, otherwise called the naval
