Book of Exodus |
||
The Book of Exodus was written by Moses as a part of the law during the 11 months at Mt. Sinai - about 1688 B.C. It reveals the history of Israel in fulfillment of the covenant, the promises, and the prophecies given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob regarding their seed. It shows the time, circumstances, and the purpose of the law given by Moses to Israel; and records the organization of the nation and the establishment of a visible form of worship with one God dwelling in the midst of His people. | ||
