How Are Men DRAWN of God To Jesus
 

Jesus declared in Jn. 6:38, that He had NOT come to do His Own Will, but the Father’s Will who had sent Him.  Therefore, Jesus was the WORD of the FATHER that was ‘made’ flesh and walked among men.  As such, the WORD’S that Jesus SPOKE among men, as ‘The Bread of Life’, that came down from the Father out of Heaven, were NOT His Own WORDS, but the Father’s who had SENT Him.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

John 12:50 (KJV)
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 7:16 (KJV)
16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  

John 6:38 (KJV)
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 6:39 (KJV)
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 6:40 (KJV)
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Therefore, we come to Jn. 6:44 & 6:65, where Jesus reveals that no man can/could ‘COME UNTO’ Him UNLESS the Father ‘DRAWS’ him.

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

To this end, HOW does then, the Father DRAW men to Jesus?  Jesus declared in Jn. 6:45, that it was spoken by the Prophets that, “They ALL shall be TAUGHT of God…”  So how are men TAUGHT of God?  By His Father’s WORD which came down from Heaven…the Bread of Life – Jesus.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

It is the WORD of the FATHER spoken by Jesus therefore, that is the ENABLER of man to COME to Jesus, who was in and of Himself, the Father’s DRAWING/ENABLING WORD, in the flesh.  Thus, it was the Father’s WORD (NOT Jesus’), spoken and taught by ‘sent’ Jesus, that provoked, enabled, drawed, and empowered, men to COME UNTO Jesus.  However, AFTER being DRAWN by the spoken WORD of God, men then, and even now – must CHOOSE to either Accept or Reject His WORD. 

Thus, how can anyone REJECT Jesus, as did the Jews, as well as many from then on have, if they have NO FREE-WILL to do so?  Men are NOT ELECTED to REJECT, but rather REJECTION mandates the inherent ability to CHOOSE.

10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

Here is a crude example, of how the WORD provokes a RESPONSIVE CHOICE for BELIEVING.  If a man calls you or someone you love a vulgar name…WORDS, it provokes a RESPONSE of ANGER.  As such, what becomes of that provoked anger is a man’s CHOICE. 

WORDS have the POWER of emotional ‘motivation’ – just how man RESPONDS to those motivational words is however an individual CHOICE.  

In summary, the very WORDS of the FATHER, that Jesus Himself was SPEAKING, was the factual instrument that God the Father, was using to DRAW men UNTO Jesus.  

Therefore, it is impossible to come to Jesus WITHOUT the WORD of God DRAWS him/her.
