A Letter To Those Who Trust In The Theology of UNCONDITIONAL Eternal Security

Shalom,

If you will graciously and patiently allow me to briefly describe and clarify my aforementioned concern, it will be most sincerely appreciated.

Going forwards, I completely agree with Hebrews 9:12 commentary regarding Yeshua Jesus' completed work of atonement at the Cross, and Yahweh God's forgiveness for all sins (absolute), past/present/future, except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which was never intended to be forgiven by Yahweh as part of Yeshua's shed Blood initiative.

"All of our sins, past-, present-, and even future-tense sins, have been atoned for..."

However, 1 John 1:9 and Matt 6:15, 18:35 describe trespasses/sins that are subsequent to the initial justification (new birth) experience and clearly do not reflect a former imputed forgiveness for future sins. These sins require a subsequent, new birth-appropriated forgiveness that is subject to the believer's free-will act of faith, hence the Greek conditional "ean"… the English conditional IF.

Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV)

14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:34-35 (KJV)

34. And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

1 John 1:8-10 (KJV)

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Therefore, to suggest that these subsequent new birth transgressions have their forgiveness imputed at the moment of the initial justification experience is in direct conflict with Yeshua Jesus and St. John.

Jesus declared in Matt. 6:15 that subsequent to the new birth experience, "if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Likewise, Yeshua declared in Matt. 10:33 that whosoever (saint or sinner alike) denies Him will also be denied before His Father (individual act of free-will choice).

Matthew 10:33 (KJV)

33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

In summary, does a Christian have to KEEP God's COMMANDMENTS to maintain their justification? Those who promote Eternal Security say NO—we have already been justified at the new birth. However, Scripture says if we KEEP God's commandments, we KNOW Him; otherwise, we are a liar.

1 John 2:3-4 (KJV)

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

So who is the TRUTH? Jesus.

John 14:6 (KJV)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Moreover, what happens to ALL liars—ETERNAL DAMNATION in the LAKE OF FIRE (the second death).

Revelation 21:8 (KJV)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I hereby WARN you NOT to follow this UNCONDITIONAL Eternal Security doctrine of devils. If you teach it or believe it, you will PAY!!!
